Apparantly, the most stressful events in life are moving house, getting married/divorced and having a baby. Does anyone agree with this?

I've done the marriage thing last year. I didn't find it particularly stressful until nearer the time when my mum and mother-in-law became nervous wrecks and phoned me every 2 minutes!

I've done the moving house thing twice (soon to be 3 times when I find somewhere else to buy) but I haven't found it to be very stressful yet.

I've no plans to divorce and I don't have children yet.

I think day to day things are more stressful like bad days at work, job interviews, exams, driving tests etc.

Everything else is an adventure!

P.S I am bored at work, hence the reason for this daft post!

Getting married is only stressful if you are a control freak and need to have every detail worked out. Things are going to fall through, get over it, and just enjoy the marriage rather than the wedding. The best thing about me getting married is that nothing changed in our relationship.

Moving house can be stressful, mostly due to incompetant lawyers not doing their job, and not coming up with the goods on the actual day of moving.

Other things annoy me, but don't stress me. Bad day at work etc.

Children don't really stress, but boy do they exhaust, which may lead to stress.

Unless you have something wrong with your child, which I would imagine must be very stressful.

i can't really comment, not married (technically i've got a girlfriend thats another story, but nothing near as stressful), certainly don't have kids (at 19?!?!?!??!) and I last moved house when I was 2, so can't really remember that. What more stressful for me is making sure I've enough money to get through the month, and uni centralscene/whut.gif

Im pretty much the same where money is concerned Sven, budgeting is quite stressful.

I find catching the bus on time stressful, i get annoyed at almost everything though. Not quite stress i know. biggrin.gif

I find life in general stressful..... like.. balancing full time uni, lots of work hours, 2 bands, girlfriend, social time, money, making sure i sleep and eat as well as commuting constantly between Edinburgh and Livi... it all causes major discomfort of my mind. LOL.

I agree with bus sentiments. Most stressful. I still support public transport to the core.

Yes, it will be a bit of an adjustment!

it does get better after the initial shock, when you find out you can't use a cup for an ashtray and you have to actually cook food and not order a carry out.

Diane- 11-13-2006
I don't really do either of those things so I should be safe!

To be honest I've never been truly stressed to the limits, maybe that is why i just coasted through school with the attitude "It'll be alright on the night" and sure enough I'm at uni, this is a post to all the kids, have fun at school and don't study and you'll end up like me.....
