I wasn't being wide. I just hate "rules" of any kind. Personal choice and liberty is probably the only thing I'd fight for. Although I don't advocate them I believe all drug taking should be a legal right and personal freedom. If decriminalised we'd take a large amount of the insidious ways that drugs are "dealt" ion the underground. Of course drugs would still be "dealt" in a commercial world just as prescription drugs are "dealt" by your GP and his reps.

I decided not to drink or smoke or take recreational drugs, when is the title straight edge bestowed upon one. Is it a choice, a "label"? I honestly don't know. So if someone could please enlighten me rather than take the usual uptight defensive mode I'd be grateful.


I reckon Caffeine should be classed as a recreational drug though. People would steal and kill if caffeine was made illegal or scarce.

If people taking the piss out of your 'correct choices in life' bothers you that much, I suggest you seek counselling on how to deal with said 'correct choices in life' in the modern world.
