Ok so it's been neglected and I am as guilty as anyone but I intend to get the site updated and of some use to humanity around Central Scotland once again.
Band Forums -------------- If you have a band forum then please post "I'm alive" in your forum any that don't get a post then I'll get them deleted, deed wood and all that. Any bands that have requested a forum and it hasn't been added then let me know again and I will get it added to the band forums Cheers, Ali. -------------------- The Savage Rejects

Colour scheme of thee central-scene is not pleasing. Can we have something a bit nicer please?
Deleting 95 percent of the old posts would be good. A fresh start. Many of us, more than just myself, are pretty embaressed by the posts we made in moments of ill-judgement. Please delete em, or completely wipe any trace from me having ever used this site, and i'll register again and use that as my acount. Do-able? Get rid of the band forums please. They are no real use to anyone. Trim the fat off a bit? We only need five or six actual forums. These are just my opinions of course and maybe they don't count as much as I really couldn't care about Stirling/etc anymore. There is nothing to stop you going to some gigs though, maybe setting some up and getting 'on the level' with the younger generation and all that business. Also, call ronnie. Or go round his house. He'd make a wicked site/logo. -------------------- A bad trip? This whole country, this whole world is on a bad trip, friend. But they'll arrest you swallowing a tablet.

The site is back in black but not maybe back in THE black.
Why did everything die at the end of last year? Has everyone moved on to other things or what. In however many years that I've read this forum I don't think I have ever actually looked in the band forum pages. And James, what do you mean you don't care about Stirling/etc anymore. When did you start caring?  |

Yeah band Forum's are pretty redundant... The new logo is worse than the old one. Which is a kind way to put it.

So a cooler logo will make the site work James? Don't talk utter pish the logo is made up with people who have used or contributed and the font is not that important either I never thought you would be so snobbish but I am sadly disappointed. The important thing is the site! always has been but I'm sure if we have a slick logo loads of folk will suddenly start using the site?

Aye, because that's what I was going for. I've already asked for the old posts to be deleted and any evidence of me having posted on this site to be removed. You don't seem into that idea so I'm repeating another point that it'd be nice if the first thing I seen as I entered the site didn't look like some horrid MsPaint-looking logo. The best thing to improve the site is copy the usefull stuff (some ofthe articles on the evils on the music industry etc) and save it some where,completely delete every speck of the centralscene site and set up a new fresh, much more stripped-down forum instead. thanks for updating the site... just thought someone needed to say that. I like the new colour scheme and the banner is great ... This site is as much an historical document as it is a resource. An account of the Central Scene in part. If you really had to delete stuff it should at least be archived for posterity. We want the old fun James back. I think so and I also think you need to lighten up
Why do you want any evidence of you having posted removed are you trying to impress someone or pretend that all those posts didn't come from you? A lot of it is garbage and nonsense but at the same time fun and as Bruce says that's the James everyone on here knows. What do you want me to do about it? You wrote the posts and like it or not it's historical to the site, if you want the posts deleted then do it yourself, they're your posts. The other point is the site is a DIY site maybe rough around the edges and unprofessional but maybe that's part of the appeal, some of these type of sites are so serious and up their own arses that it's just not funny any more. You are entitled to your opinion James but it's only 1 opinion and some of your suggestions have been agreed with and implemented so it's not one way traffic
